A thoughtful, well-established household seeks a Full-Time House Manager to oversee two residences in Calabasas for a high-profile principal. This role is ideal for a grounded, capable professional who finds satisfaction in creating calm, order, and continuity behind the scenes. This is a return client who has been praised for their kindness and generosity by former staff.

You will work as part of a collaborative household ecosystem alongside two personal assistants, a part-time housekeeper, and a nanny. The right person brings both warmth and authority: someone who is easygoing and personable, yet deeply organized, proactive, and confident making decisions independently.

This is not a high-drama or around-the-clock role. It is a steady, leadership-oriented position best suited for someone who genuinely enjoys the craft of house management and takes pride in well-run systems, trusted vendor relationships, seamless day-to-day operations (and who might get a kick out of working with a bit of an eccentric, yet very kind hearted principal).

The Role at a Glance

This House Manager will serve as a central point of coordination for the homes - liaising between principal, staff, and vendors - while implementing and maintaining organizational systems that allow everything to run smoothly.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing household operations across two residences

  • Communicating clearly and professionally with principals and staff

  • Managing vendors and maintaining trusted service relationships

  • Implementing systems for organization, maintenance, and efficiency

  • Conducting bi-weekly walkthroughs of both properties

  • Anticipating needs and addressing issues before they escalate

The homes are modest in size, the larger being about 3,500sqft. The role allows for partial remote work, making it well-suited for someone who values flexibility paired with accountability. Daily onsite visits will be needed, this is about 75% onsite, 25% remote option should you choose.

Schedule & Lifestyle

  • Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, Hybrid flexibility

  • This is not a 24/7 position, your after hours will be yours unless there is a true emergency

  • Long-term stability and consistency are valued

The household includes two medium size dogs with a walker already in place; candidates should be comfortable stepping in with light, occasional pet support when needed.

Compensation & Benefits
