Executive Housekeeper – Austin, TX

A growing family in Austin is seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper to oversee the daily care, organization, and upkeep of a 15,000sqft primary residence. This role is ideal for a career housekeeper who takes pride in creating calm, well-run environments through consistency and attention to detail. There is one child in the home and more are expected within the next few years. You will not be responsible for childcare, you along with all other staff are expected to help maintain a safe and supportive environment for the children however.

This is a hands-on position for someone who understands that exceptional housekeeping is both practical and systems-driven. The right candidate is organized, warm, and proactive - someone who anticipates needs, maintains high standards independently, and takes ownership of the home’s presentation and functionality.

This is a newly acquired residence. There will be additional housekeeping staff brought on soon, you will be responsible for assisting in training them and leading housekeeping processes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Full-charge housekeeping, including daily and deep cleaning

  • Laundry and linen care, including organization and rotation

  • Maintaining household supplies and inventories

  • Conducting regular walkthroughs to identify organization or maintenance needs

  • Maintaining consistent standards across all areas of the home

  • Housekeeping team leadership and process development

The home is fully staffed with more staff on the way.

You will report to the Estate Manager.

Schedule & Lifestyle:

  • Monday–Friday, daytime hours

  • Occasional flexibility appreciated

  • Availability to travel both domestic and international is a huge bonus

The ideal candidate:

  • Has 5+ years of experience as an Executive or Senior Housekeeper in private homes or luxury hotels

  • Views housekeeping as a long-term profession

  • Works calmly and independently with strong attention to detail

  • Communicates clearly and professionally

  • Takes genuine pride in maintaining a well-run home

  • Warm, family friendly and naturally supportive towards children within the home

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $125,000–$150,000 annually, depending on experience

  • Benefits package

  • Paid time off
