Social Media Manager / Production Assistant - Miami, FL (with light travel, please be comfortable on boats)

A Miami-based Wellness Influencer is seeking an experienced Social Media Manager and Production Assistant to oversee and execute a cohesive, high-quality social media presence across platforms (tiktok, instagram, youtube). This role is ideal for a creative, organized professional who understands both strategy and execution and can balance aesthetics, storytelling, and consistency with performance and growth goals. Experience in health and wellness oriented content is highly desired though not mandatory.

This is a hands-on position for someone who is deeply fluent in social media culture, trends, and platform-specific best practices, while also maintaining a polished, brand-conscious approach. The right candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while also working closely with the principal and their day to day manager. Experience in photography, photo editing, and all aspects of both content creation and social media is essential. While this is not technically a start up, the get up and go, do it all and make it happen attitude found in start up culture, is highly desirable for this role.

This role is best suited for someone who sees social media management as a long-term profession, is comfortable and proficient with hands on production needs, and takes pride in building and maintaining a thoughtful, intentional online presence.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing day-to-day social media activity across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and emerging channels as needed

  • Planning, creating, and scheduling content including posts, stories, reels, and short-form video

  • Developing and maintaining a cohesive brand voice, aesthetic, and content calendar

  • Capturing and editing content as needed, including photo and video (in-person support required)

  • Monitoring engagement, responding to comments and messages as appropriate, and fostering community interaction

  • Staying current on platform trends, algorithm changes, and best practices

  • Collaborating on campaign planning, launches, and special initiatives

  • Analyzing performance metrics and providing regular insights and recommendations

  • Ensuring consistency, professionalism, and discretion across all content

  • You will work closely with leadership and creative partners to align social media efforts with broader brand and business goals.

Schedule & Lifestyle:

  • Monday–Friday schedule, with flexibility as needed for events or time-sensitive content (40-50hrs weekly)

  • In-person presence in Miami required, with occasional light travel

  • Regular access to wellness and lifestyle perks (there often an overflow of products and samples)

The ideal candidate:

  • Has 3+ years of experience managing social media accounts professionally

  • Is fluent in Instagram, TikTok, Youtube and short-form video strategy

  • Unafraid and excited to be involved in creative strategy discussions, content creation and content editing

  • Has strong visual instincts and an eye for branding and composition

  • Is highly organized and comfortable managing content calendars and deadlines

  • Communicates clearly and professionally

  • Is adaptable, self-directed, and solutions-oriented

  • Understands the importance of discretion and brand alignment

  • Is comfortable working in a fast-paced, creative environment

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $100,000–$130,000 annually, depending on experience

  • Wellness Stipend + regular access to wellness oriented samples and gifts

  • Priority will be given to candidates currently based in Miami, Florida.
